Maya is coming off the success of her previous single, House On A Rocky Road which reached Number 1 in the Netherlands iTunes Charts and peaked at Number 27 in the UK one. She is the sole composer, producer and writer of her music, creating her own instruments and samples, like recording crickets in Brazil and dropping toys on piano strings.
Dancing With A Bottle is off Maya Lavelle’s upcoming conceptual album, Hobo. Inspired from her experiences while living in Amsterdam, Los Angeles and London, the characters she sings about are lonely, searching for love and care, just like Hobo. They’re all coming from different dimensions to meet in the House on the Rocky Road which is in Darkwille County. Hobo is the only character who can travel through all the dimensions and he changes the light bulbs on the streets of the Universe.
